Flexible Industry Program (FIP)
A Flexible Industry Program (FIP) course allows students to develop the skills, knowledge and competencies that are valued by industry that will enable them to make successful transitions between school, further education, training and work.
The advantages of completing a FIP course while completing SACE include:
- Gain nationally recognised qualifications that contribute to the SACE.
- Preparation for employment in specific industries and provides a clear pathway beyond school.
- Provides opportunities to learn ‘on the job’ while undertaking regular work placement (where required by the course).
The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is designed to give students the opportunity to have diverse forms of learning and achievement recognised. This includes providing students with Flexible Industry Pathway options, which allow the recognition of FIP towards the SACE. At Aberfoyle Park High School, we are committed to providing access to a range of FIP courses for our students.
At the time of publication of this handbook, the information below about FIP is correct. Any changes to FIP course offerings will be shared with students and families as the information becomes available.
Two FIP courses are delivered onsite at Aberfoyle Park High School by qualified trainers. Information about these courses can be accessed via the links below:
