Stage 1 Workplace Practices

COURSE CONTENT:
In Workplace Practices students develop knowledge, skills, and understanding of the nature, type and structure of the workplace. Specific areas include, for example, the changing nature of work; employment opportunities and application processes; safe and sustainable workplace practices; technical and industry skills; and issues in industry and employment contexts.
Students choosing this subject are required to undertake 25-30 hours of relevant work placement.

Students should provide evidence of their learning through four assessments tasks which include at least one assessment for the folio, one assessment for the performance, and at least one assessment for the reflection.
