COURSE CONTENT:
Get ready to explore the fascinating world of Advanced Technology. The course combines Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Technical Drawing, Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics (electronics and motion) to build moving projects and unique solutions to problems. Students will undertake a range of skill development tutorials to build your confidence with CAD, Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM). With your growing proficiency, you will independently drive our prototyping machines like 3D Printers, Laser Engravers, and CNC Mills, and watch as your designs materialize before your eyes.
Along the way, you’ll sharpen your problem-solving skills in design, construction, and evaluation through engaging practical tasks and exercises. Get ready to investigate, design, construct, and evaluate your own projects, as every student takes on the challenge of becoming a master creator!

Students are assessed based on the concepts, capabilities and dispositions of the South Australian curriculum.
