COURSE CONTENT:
In Year 8 Food and Fibre Technologies, you will explore how food and textiles shape our daily lives through practical activities. You will discover new perspectives by investigating real-world challenges, and design creative solutions in both cooking and textile projects. This subject gives you the chance to try a variety of food production and textile techniques, learn from your experiences, and build practical skills. Along the way, you will make healthy, sustainable choices, work with others, and develop confidence as you find innovative ways to tackle problems and improve your work.
ASSESSMENT:
Students are assessed based on the concepts, capabilities and dispositions of the South Australian curriculum.
