COURSE CONTENT:
Are you ready to become a master of metal and fabrication? In this thrilling course, you’ll dive headfirst into the exciting world of welding, machining, and general fabrication. Get your hands dirty as you develop essential skills that will empower you to bring your wildest metal creations to life. Students will then tackle the challenge of designing and constructing a major practical project that will showcase your talent and innovation. From intricate metalwork to precision machining, you’ll be assessed through a range of practical and theoretical assignments that will push your skills to new heights.
An “A” and “B” course is offered at this year level with the intention to provide students with a greater opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in this learning area. Please note these courses are different, and there is no requirement for students to do “A” before “B”. Students can choose either or both.
ASSESSMENT:
Students provide evidence of their learning through three assessment tasks.
