Students gain an understanding of the human experience of conflict and its impacts on different times and events in history.
Students are able to analyse and compare different events and sources. They learn to question what is being said and how it is being said, using the Critical Inquiry capability.
Geography
Students undertake a sustainable environmental study that allows them to gain understanding and knowledge in the interrelationships between environmental factors and features such as biomes and human activity impacts.
Students develop the capabilities of Ethical Understanding and Critical Inquiry. Students are given the skills to ask the hard questions and understand the ramification of humans and their engagement with the environment.
Civics and Citizenship
Students learn about the creation of the Australian Identity. They learn about the experience of initial contact, its lasting effects and diversity of the Australian peoples through the generations.
