COURSE CONTENT:
Take your evolving Design and Technology skills to the next level with Advanced Technology. In this course you will hone your skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Technical Drawing, and make your ideas come to life using prototyping machines like 3D Printers and Laser cutters/engravers. This course will also include a grounding in electronics and simple robotics which go hand-in-hand with advanced manufacturing to design functional products of expanding sophistication.

Through engaging in practical tasks and exercises, students will enhance their understanding and problem-solving abilities in design, construction, and evaluation. These skills will be applied on a number of projects, in which students will follow the Engineering Design Process.

ASSESSMENT:
Students are assessed based on the concepts, capabilities and dispositions of the South Australian curriculum.
