COURSE CONTENT:
Get ready to unleash your creativity and dive into the exciting new world of Advanced Technologies! In this course, you’ll develop an impressive array of skills, knowledge, and understanding that will build your independence in using of the school’s cutting-edge advanced manufacturing to design and realise your ideas. In this course you will design a number of small products using powerful, industry-level Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and see these through to manufacturing using 3D printers and Laser Engravers.

Combining with advanced manufacturing, this course will also feature short units on robotics and introductory electronics to broaden your knowledge and skills to design and make solutions to problems that may involve energy: light, heat, and motion. With these skills in your arsenal, you’ll grow to conquer the physical and digital landscape and bring your boldest technological visions to life.

ASSESSMENT:
Students are assessed based on the concepts, capabilities and dispositions of the South Australian curriculum.
