COURSE CONTENT:
In Creative Arts students identify their own ‘program focus’ which is any area within Visual Art, Design or related creative fields such as fashion design, illustration, interior design, fine art, sculpture etc. which they would like to explore further. Creative Arts topics can be very flexible which allows students to explore topics and materials that sit outside the traditional Art/Design subject areas. Students will identify and develop practical skills based on their chosen program focus and work towards a self-directed final product in negotiation with the teacher.
Creative Arts products may take a variety of forms: digital imaging, painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, comic books, sculpture, ceramics, mosaics, murals, textiles, fashion, typography, logo design and many more.

ASSESSMENT:
Students will be assessed against the SACE Stage 1 Creative Arts performance standards. Students will provide evidence of their learning through three assessments.
