Stage 1 Business Innovation

COURSE CONTENT:
In Stage 1 Business Innovation, students begin to develop the knowledge, skills, and understandings to engage in business contexts in the modern world.
Students will undertake an excursion to existing small South Australian business and use design thinking to create a solution to a problem. Students will need to consider all aspects of a small business including financial implications, advertising, customer needs and then pitch their idea to a panel of business owners. All students will be involved in a ‘Shark Tank’ pitch as the final task.
