Student Services
Student Services are available to support families and students with a range of services including:
- booking appointments with wellbeing leaders
- signing into school after 8.45am
- signing out of school before the end of the school day, or for appointments
- first aid and medical issues
- distributing urgent messages to students.
It is important that students attend school except when they are sick or for an unavoidable and important reason. The school is required to follow up all absences and will work with families where there are ongoing concerns.
Attendance
Late arrivals and early departures – Students who arrive after the start of the school day, or who need to leave before the end of the school day, must go to Student Services to sign in/out using their ID card.
When notifing the school parents/caregivers can:
- text the school on 0429 558 004 with the reason for the absence.
- email aphs.studentreception762@schools.sa.edu.au advising the reason for a student’s absence on the day of the absence.
- contact the school by phone on 8270 4455, choose #1 on the day of absence
Late or early sign in/outs need parent/caregiver permission and should be limited. Students cannot sign in/out during breaks to go to the shops.
If a student will be absent for an extended period, such as for family holidays or sporting commitments, please contact the school for an exemption form.

On Tuesdays, students are dismissed at 2:20pm for staff professional learning. School buses depart at 2:30pm.
