COURSE CONTENT:
In Year 7 IGNITE Mathematics the Year 7 Australian Curriculum is studied, with learning experiences specifically designed for high-ability learners. This course focuses on deepening your knowledge, understanding and skills in a range of mathematical concepts including number and algebra, measurement, space and statistics, and probability.

You will be encouraged to problem solve and think critically, making links between multiple mathematical concepts and ideas and discovering where they can be applied outside of the classroom. You are also provided with opportunities to develop your ICT skills and use various ICT programs/applications.

ASSESSMENT:
Students will be assessed according to criteria established by the Australian Curriculum achievement standards. Student assessment will be based on folio tasks and skills and application tasks.
