Setup new device
Before you get to school
Setting up a new laptop involves connecting to the internet and setting up a free Microsoft or Apple account, unless you already have one. This personal account is distinct from your school login and provides access to additional features and services. You’ll use your school login for applications like EdPass and Microsoft Office later on. The account you create must have Administrator rights to your device.

Remember your device login password. Write it down in a safe place if needed. Add a hint if prompted.
After you get to school
- Connect to the school network named APHS Secure
- Install the SSL certificate on your device Click here for instructions
- Install the Microsoft 365 apps on your device. Click here for instructions
- Install the school printers on your device. Click here for instructions
